Windows 7 – desperate Tube adverts?

Moving from the mainline to the Jubilee underground line I see numerous Windows 7 adverts. Huge bill boards along the walkways. Don’t recall anything similar for previous incarnations of Windows. Not even Windows 95 when first released.

So are Microsoft getting desperate or just keen to get all the exposure available? Have read elsewhere Windows 7 is make or break for them. I wonder. All the adverts espouse its qualities – uses less memory, faster, fewer clicks required, less disk space required. All sounds good. I’ll need to get a copy to try.
