Nigel Marsh: How to make work-life balance work

“Work-life balance, says Nigel Marsh, is too important to be left in the hands of your employer. At TEDxSydney, Marsh lays out an ideal day balanced between family time, personal time and productivity — and offers some stirring encouragement to make it happen.”

Very interesting – for me it resonates with the concept that large corporations control society and therefore us an individuals and families too much.  Postulates the thought that out of small things comes that which is great … a familiar thought to some who will read this. How does this relate to counselling?  Some people come to see a counsellor as their life is out of balance.  If you life is way out of balance then the ideas shared here most likely will not be sufficient, but they could provide a help.

Not so long as other TED talks I’ve posted – only 10 minutes and 5 seconds

Warning: a mild swear word used twice.
